So if you've been following holoholo lens since day one, you might have noticed I recently updated the copyright watermark on the pictures. Well there's a reason for that. Back in 2017, I found one of the holoholo lens pictures being used on another website, when I tried to get them to bring it down I got blocked because holoholo lens cannot hold a copyright. It's not a company, nor a person, so I couldn't do anything. After talking to a friend who knows about this stuff, I was given the advice to copyright things under my name, because I am a person and I can hold copyright. It might not be fool proof, but it will give me a better chance of getting stolen pictures removed.

My intention was always that the project can exist without me, so I wanted the pictures to be owned by the project not me, but apparently unless I start a company called holohololens or name myself holoholo lens that's not possible. Anyway, there it is, I'm not ego tripping and trying to claim everyone's work as my own. I just needed a way to stop the pictures from being stolen. The humbug thing is I can't retroactively change the copyright on the previous pics without a lot of work.

If you have no idea what I mean, here's the updated copyright watermark below.

Current copyright watermark, might change it if comes out c/o doesn't work. Dunno.
