We're one year old!

We're one year old!

October, marks 1 year since I kicked off this project and I wouldn't have been able to do any of this without all of you, but most of all because of all the holoholo lensers. So what's happened in the last year? There are now officially 4 holoholo lensers, which I guess takes this out of the "experiment" stage and into a fully fledged project stage. The camera has been to Vegas, Florida, Atlanta, and is now in Washington (state). Lance Agena has kindly donated logo artwork, which means I have schwag now. The website has grown to the point where I had to upgrade my squarespace account lol. All in all, I'd say year 1 was a success.

What's up for year 2? I'm hoping to to upgrade the camera, hope to get one that has GPS or a way to auto set the time, and has a built in flash so there aren't so many pieces to get lost. Also I'd like to get someone who actually knows web design to help me redo the web page, it just isn't pretty. I'd like to find some sponsors or start a patreon to help absorb some of the cost. I want to get up to at least 6 people next year, and I'd like to go international, or at least get the camera to Canada.

Anyway, this was supposed to be a quick post but I hit save as draft, and now it's November. Thanks for being a part of Holoholo lens, we'll have ways to support in the future and stay tuned. You never know where holoholo lens, may holo holo to next.

Next Holoholo lenser!

It's September now, and the holoholo lens camera is holoholoing its way to the next person. Another familiar face that has been somewhat MIA from the Hawaii social media scene for a while. Stay tuned for updates, once I get their selfies with the holoholo lens camera I'll post another update.

We have a new logo!

We have a new logo!

Thanks to the awesomeness of one Lance, aka lance_agena on twitter, we have a spiffy new logo! Which leads to, a few people asked how they can support holoholo lens, i thought about doing a kickstarter but I suck at keeping that organize, also I hate people getting nothing for something. So I'm going to do merch, esp now with the new logo. So coming soon a merch store, you'll see.

Anyway thanks again Lance, check him out on twitter as lance_agena or his street photography work at somewhere. I dunno where. lol

Thanks for the memory... cards, Jenn!

Thanks for the memory... cards, Jenn!

So Jenn's memory cards came back today (the camera is going with her on one more adventure, but it isn't holoholo lens related), and I'm truly blown away, holy moly thanks Jenn! 2000+ pics, almost an hour of vids, coming in at over 30 gigs of raw files whoa!

Also so much food, it'll be really hard to edit this set, I'll be hungry every time I sit down ;) Anyway here's a sample of the pics Jenn took, stay tuned for her gallery coming soon!

Oh yah, like us on instagram.

Number 3!

I guess it's official, holoholo lens is an official project now. I still can't believe we're three people in, this time the traveling camera is in Georgia with Jenn. Here's her first photo, can't wait to see what she doing.
